Hi peeps. Yesterday was a day of not much fun and joy. So, we did not really had a whale of our time during our NE trip. My class was suppose to visit the SINGAPORE RIVER for as an INTERESTING location to learn about our country. Very interesting indeed. We went all the way from Pasir Ris MRT station to Clarke Quay station. And you should know how troublesome it is to change trains twice. Worst thing was the train to Clarke Quay took so long to arrive. So we waited. But needless to say, being practical students, we had to do something conducive to pass our our -if not wasted- time. So, we took PHOTOS! what? its ok to take photos often right..


When we reached our final destination - Singapore River- we were so EXCITED. can't wait for what Aik Ho had prepared for us. at the Singapore River.

Unfortunately, the dark truth befalls all humans. There was nothing in store for us. Nothing. haiz.. So in the end, we stayed at the Singapore River for merely 5 minutes discussing on which functional place should we go to instead.

Chow lao shi came up with the idea that we should go to the Art museum situated a stone's throw away from the river. Undoubtedly, the girls had some opposition to this. So, we voice our opinion by suggesting that we hit the mall instead. ( not that clarke mall is interesting but it beats going to an art appreciation centre for us. )

As we know, the elders have the largest say in everything.
So, we went to the art museum.
fortunately, the peoplE at the museum didn't allow us in. So, we just had to walk into some small art painting exhibition there that we could enter.
The paintings there were breath taking. Can't describe them here. You've just gotta look at them yourselves.
In the art exhibition area, a few of us aunties with very sharp eyes i must say, spotted something that is FOC ( free-of-charge)!!
So, we chiong to grab every single one of it. The FOC items were very beautiful postcards =)
eventhough i do not have the habit of keeping postcards, nevertheless, FOC items will never slip through my fingers. wahaha.

firstly, i would like to thank Ong Wei Jie for kindly helping me to put up this blog skin. I love it so much beacuse it's green and lively! Sorry for troubling you and all but what can i do? i am a com noob ya? haha..

Sharon and I went for TPJC's project runway today. It was some kind of model show. Initially i was envisaging a very dumb model show made up of stupidly dressed up people. However, my trip to the show proved me wrong. The entire show put up was fascinating. What the models wore were very eye-catching and fancy. I especially loved the dress worn by the 1st runner up. It looked like some kind of wedding dress. very white, dreamy and romantic indeed. In addition, the model was super tall and elegant which was a plus factor to her costume. ( haiz..i am reminded of my height again -shortpot)There was a model who wore something that seriously bared her entire back. It was so attention seeking. I bet all the guys there were ogling at her throughtout the show.

firstly, i would like to apologise to the 4 x 400m runners for backing out from the run today. This is solely due to the cramp in my leg attained from yesterday's training. So, i didn't want to pull the entire team down =) thanks to kee chen for taking over my place! without you, i would really not know what to do !! Anyway, Congrats to you guys for achieving a 3rd place for the race too. You all did a fantastic job.

just returned from school - cca-.Actually i 'just' returned 3 hours ago.. hehe. plus, i am not planning to do any homework..yippee! After consolidating information that Debbie and Yunn Yue aren't doing their maths and economics homework too, i finalise my decision of not doing too =) but actually i guess i won't do even if they do. I think i used many 'do' in my whole paragraph.Must stop it now.

Well, i haven't really thank all my friends who came to watch me performed last friday in music extraodinaire yet. So, now i must give my speech of appreciation.

Dear friends of Newbie,
it was really a blessing to be given the opportunity to perform on stage and it was even a gift from heaven that i got to perform for all my beautiful friends. Ahh..
Standing on the stage and singing your best isn't a very easy task. Jia Wen , Yunn Yue and I were already trembling all over during the rehearsals where we were faced with close to no audience in the lecture theater. Then we wondered whether we could cope with the tremendous pressure we were going to face during the actual performance. In addition, during rehearsals , we were constantly having pitching problems and strange blendings of the different pitch( especially for me in the pitching problem case). So, we worried and worried and worried. However, the encouragement given from my classmates pep me up a little and i seem to regain my strength to continue in the race (wow).

Then came the day of the performance. The real thing. Unfortunately, on that eventful day, my class was made to go down to NUS to support our school's soccer team for the semi-finals ( i think) . And, everyone already bought the MX tickets!! My classmates then assured me that they would first thing rush back to MJ to watch us perform. But i wasn't sure about that. I mean i wasn't sure if they could make it in time( and not if they mean what they say), don't misunderstand k?

But YAY!! In the end, my classmates made it in time!! and it was really on the dot that they arrived. Right before it was our turn to perform..woo..At that point of time my confidence level soared. And i was feeling damn touched. This was because i saw the entire trail of my class girls ( my class only consists of 5 boys..hehe) entering the LT and stirring a little commotion just to come and watch. I am so glad you all came and not return home after the tiring soccer cheering at such a faraway place. Ah, and i still cannot forget the humurous scene casting my ex-classmate, Wan lin. Her bag got stuck between the LT's huge and heavy doors when she came in.Ha ha.. and she was wriggling to free herself. But to no avail..In the end someone had to rescue her from the door. LOL.Sorry to laugh Wan Lin, but some things can't be controlled.
Oh, and sorry to the final soloist who was singing. ( My friends shuffled into the LT during his performance ..hehe)

Although the judges ( li fei hui, a project superstar contestant (jeff) and i weekly manager) didnt gave our group very ideal comments, i was very happy when you all said we sang well =) that was all that was needed. However, i still can't accept the fact that Jeff said we were wearing sleeping gowns. We placed in so much effort in search for our costume ok!!

Thanks Sharon for coming even when your blue contact lens are causing your eyes to turn red ( red + blue = purple, no wonder you seemed kinda gay that day). and also for hugging me with your trademark hug. thanks for commenting that i look pretty that day too. ( haiz, thats only cos i am putting on makeup). thanks for donning in mj uni just to come over too.and thanks for saying that me and shi min look like the central of attraction in the finale (haha), although the crowd was diffusing the LT at the same time when we were singing the finale.
Thanks Ker lin for actually even appearing!! haha, no lah. thanks for saying my makeup is nice ( but i think u meant what's below it is not nice). thanks for sacrificing the ' something on' you were inittially suppose to attend. thanks for being late for it because of our performance.
Thanks Ong Wei jie for ponning your impt scouts meeting to come. Although you didnt turn up for scouts truly due to the fact that you had to go soccer cheering too. Thanks for rushing over after that. Btw, thanks for teaching me so much of chemistry too!
Thanks Gavin for being such a friend to appear, though u apparently came because Mei Shan was going. haha kidding. I know from the bottom of your heart you wanna come and see me one lah. ( urbp..puke)


oh, and thanks to kwang wei for turning up suddenly when you have always been saying you won't come. i know you pon muay thai.yah, but beacuse of soccer cheering not MX ! but still THANKS! muay thai rocks and the exco position rocks further! hehe

i am running outta time to study for my chemistry test tmr!!
oh no, i have been ceasing to do all my tutorials these 2 weeks because of MX rehearsals and mostly my laziness. And now when everything's over, i am still not doing my tutorials and not preparing for my test. Oh ya, this is called inertia. Not my fault. Must forgive myself.

So now, i will take up some time to blog about my ex class.07s24 tpjc =) i love all of you loads. and i have so much time on hand -_-
