Alright, i shall post about what happened on thursday..
It was my beloved darling Gavin's big bashy birthday!
The people who turned up were sharon, shimin, jason, ong weijie, da zhong and me!
but some who didnt turn up like yong ying, ker lin and han jie also had a share in the present. Actually ker lin turned up at the place of celebration ( Pasir Ris Park), but by that time we had already departed from there. Sorry ker lin, that's just too bad.
Anyway, before Gavin turned up, the few of us were putting our heads together to brainstorm on how are we gonna surprise Gavin. So ultimately, the plan goes like this :
Step 1: We were going to order a cake from emi cakes at downtown east.
Step 2: proceeding to pasir ris park to find a shady spot ( which was tough to locate as all else was close to blazing hot)
Step 3 :Send Da Zong and Jason to buy the berverages and collect the cake and send Ong to fetch Gavin from the bus stop when our big star arrives. while the rest of us ( consisting of only girls) wait and rest at the designated spot in the park.hehe. That's what girls are for.
Step 4: Before Gavin accompanied by Ong has arrived, we were to set up the cake in a way that it is hidden from Gavin's eyes when he arrives. ( unfortunately, Gavin seem to have seen everything as we had a hard time lighting the candles on the cake because of the wind - thing is we didn't feel any wind the whole time we were there )
Step 5: ask Gavin to come over to blow the candles as we sang the Happy Birthday song. ( Gavin didn't realise that there were only 6 small candles and 1 big candle on the cake and he is suppose to be 17 this year!! oh no, i hope it's not inauspicious for him)

everything went quite smoothly..
Then later, we proceeded to the beach to have some fun..
We started strolling through the beach and playing with the seawater...and then...of course...we couldn't resist the temptation of of a water war yea? The war started with me splashing on Jason.
I thought i could be victorious in this war when little did i realise i became the wettest duckling of all. This was due to the fact that before i even started to splash on the enemy team( jason and da zhong), i was drenched all over by their mighty splash.haiz. and tasted a lot of salty seawater. yuks.
Later, we decided on a sandcastle competition. but i wasn't there for the competition as i went to meet my parents.
When i returned, it was apparent that the snadcastle formed by shimin and sharon was the most beautiful and magnificent one. while that of jason's and da zhong's resembled most uncannily, a tomb stone. that's sad.
However, the most unexpected thing was that they actually dug very deep pits of holes (that they called rivers) until it reaches a point where water oozes and place their feet inside the milo look-a-like water. And their reasoning was "therapy mah ". Even then when the hole was pretty deep, they still continued to dig. HI HO HI HO HI HO HI HO HI HO... if only there was 7 ppl digging they can be called the seven little dwarfs.
Then after the whole therapy thing, Those we placed their feet in the water kept convincing themselves that their skin somehow became smoother and that there were some truth behind the therapy thing.haha.then Sharon ( who was one who submerge her feet in the milo ) was seen putting feng you on her leg.lol
After the whole thing, we went to have dinner at down town east ( in our drenched form) and told each other of the most embarrasing moments of our lives, with shimin champing the person with the most embarrasing encounter.
Then later we played pool. Sharon and I had a whale of our time laughing over the slightest thing at the pool table. haha. We gave many free balls to our opponent all the time in very funny ways.
